A Human Rights Implementation Assessment for Mental Health Law and Policy

INDICATE is developing Australia’s first co-designed human rights indicator for assessing compliance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in the mental health context.
A partnership with Wellways Australia, INDICATE is collaborating with people with lived experience of mental health services, carers, researchers, and government agencies to co-design a practical CRPD ‘indicator’ and trial it in Victoria and Queensland to support meaningful, rights-based reform.
